The CHARM lab presents the last event of the Spring Research Workshop Series, "CV Building Workshop: A Passport to Your Dream Job in Academia." This workshop is geared toward any graduate student who wants to learn more about how to craft a strong CV for the academic job market. We will cover good and back CV examples and offer an ample time to update your own CV! Hand-made coffee and light snacks will be offered. We hope to see you there!
Research Workshop Series: The CHARM Lab prepares monthly workshop series to further advance our understanding of research process. This semester, we are hosing three highly hands-on research workshops on interesting topics such as Zotero citation manager tool, AI-powered research tools, and crafting an effective academic CV. Leveraging AI in Academia Workshop: Please join us for the CHARM Lab’s Spring 2025 research workshop series! This month, we are hosting a student-led workshop on the topic of "Leveraging AI in Academia." The workshop will be held on Mar. 26, 2025 (Wed) 12:30-2:00 p.m. in Horizon Hall #5225 (the large conference room). In this session, our doctorate students will lead step-by-step demonstrations regarding useful AI platforms for research and facilitate conversations on the pros, cons, and ethical implications of the use of the AI tools in academia. Research Group Opportunity: The CHARM Lab provides an exciting research group opportunity to both undergraduate and graduate students. The goal is to offer student-led collaborative research experience that compliments student coursework. Students will take the initiative to participate in a research project of their interest, and Dr. Kim will serve as a faculty mentor throughout the process.
