Jasmine Williams is an instructor of Fundamentals of Communication at George Mason University. She is also currently working toward her Master of Arts in Communication at GMU. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts: Acting & Directing from Ferrum College in 2019. While in undergraduate school, she decided to couple her love of performance and advocacy for mental health and overall wellness of marginalized communities to guide her future studies and professional endeavors.
Jasmine's dream goal is to found her own Children’s Theatre to act as a mental and emotional sanctuary for marginalized and lower income youth. She comfortably finds her place at GMU within the Communication Department today, as she plans to take what she is learning from her students and her professors in preparation to seek her Drama Therapy License.
