Doran Tucker (he/him/his) is a first-year doctoral student at George Mason University’s Department of Communication. His research interests focus on the nexus of identity, policy, and the environment with a particular emphasis on effective climate change communication in Appalachian and military contexts. As an avid hunter and crafter of medieval armor, Doran routinely intermeshes his hobbies and academic inquiry.
