Professor Siller is a professional advertising, branding, marketing, and public relations practitioner with extensive communications experience. Since graduating Northwestern University with a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications, he has successfully orchestrated campaigns on the agency side, the client side and as an entrepreneur.

He has created and managed hundreds of advertising campaigns for multiple national/regional/local brands: Chiquita Bananas, North American Van Lines, AAA, Faygo Beverages, Blatz Beer, Marriott’s Big Boy Restaurants and Howard Johnson Restaurants, The Washington Times, AMF-Head, Jerry’s Subs & Pizza, Checker’s Double Drive Thru, Bojangles Chicken and Biscuits, amongst others.

And, as the founder and principal of a marketing, advertising and branding consulting firm, he practices the art of connecting brands and people by creating total brand experiences. These customer journeys are built on big data personalized with a big idea. Using authentic and compelling stories, he builds a community of brand fans by engaging with humor, irony, emotion and real life. To convince and convert, he maximizes personalized experiences to form the perfect intersection of a brand and its marketing.

Applying this “brand personality” theory, he has won numerous advertising, marketing, and branding awards including an EAT Award (Excellence in Advertising on Television), multiple EAR Awards (Excellence in Advertising on Radio), Addy Awards, a Gold Award for Outstanding Communication and a Clio Award for the Best Food Print Ad in the US.

As a Chief Communications Officer for several decades, his integrated strategic corporate communications background includes public relations, media relations, internal communications, events, reputation management, crisis communications, as well as stakeholder affairs.

Siller’s journalistic experience includes a stint as a Correspondent for The New York Times, the Brooklyn College Award for Journalistic Excellence, Editor-in-Chief of the weekly Brooklyn College Newspaper Kingsman, and Editor-in-Chief of the Brooklyn College Newsmagazine Calling Card.
