Welcome & Letter from the Chair

Welcome to the new academic year!

Please mark your calendars for the exciting events listed below! We can’t wait to see you to celebrate the department and Insight Committee anniversaries, and learn from more than 20 expert professionals across many communication subfields at the Fall Career Forum!

It was wonderful to see and meet so many alumni and friends of the Forensics team on August 17 to recognize 50 years of award-winning success! A truly inspirational gift by Bruce Manchester to support the team for the future was announced at the event, for which the entire Communication and Forensics communities are grateful.

Also, congratulations to our students and colleagues on their many meaningful and significant accomplishments highlighted in the website’s news section. I continue to marvel at their talents, creativity, brilliance, and desire to better the world.

Wishing you a fantastic start to the semester,

Kim Meltzer
