Sandra Djaba

Sandra Djaba is a PhD student And a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the department of Communication at George Mason University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication studies with specialization in Public Relations, and later advanced her academic journey by earning a master’s degree in communication studies. Currently, Sandra is pursuing her PhD in Health Communication, with a research focus on health promotion, health literacy, and the design of effective messages for interventions and communication campaigns that drive behavioral change. Her work aims to harness the power of communication to improve health outcomes by increasing awareness, understanding, and motivation for healthier choices. As a scholar and educator, she is passionate about bridging the gap between research and real-world-application. Her work seeks to empower individuals and communities through clear, accessible, and motivating communications.
