Manoj Dahal is a Ph.D. student in Communication at George Mason University, focusing on Communication of health disparities, Digital Health Communication and Mobile Communication. His academic background includes a Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and a Master’s in Business Studies from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Manoj’s research and teaching interests lie at the intersection of health disparities and the impact of digital health communication on public health.

Before joining George Mason, Manoj gained extensive professional experience in the telecommunications industry with Nepal Telecom, where he held various managerial roles, including positions in Human Resources and Telco business. His academic work was recognized with the Best Teaching Assistant Award at UTSA in 2023.

At George Mason, Manoj teaches undergraduate courses in COM 101: Fundamentals of Communication, emphasizing practical communication skills vital for professional success.
