Aliesha is a Speaker, Emcee and Actress who is deeply committed to empowering professional women to break free from career stagnation. She helps women take bold steps toward work that aligns with their true purpose—work they love and that brings them fulfillment. A Veteran of the U.S. Navy, Aliesha served for 8 years as an Electronics Technician, including special orders with the White House Communications Agency, where she installed communications equipment for Presidential events. Her work in electronics led to a career in IT, where she joined a leading Microsoft partner and eventually became a Premier Field Engineer at Microsoft. Aliesha then shifted her focus to Communications, earning a master’s degree on the subject from George Mason University. She transitioned from engineering to become an Executive Communications Manager at Microsoft, where she supported Corporate Vice Presidents. In this role she was encouraged to step in front of the camera as a co-host for Microsoft Inspire, a global, multi-day, partner-focused event where attendees learn about Microsoft’s roadmap, share best practices and network. Aliesha's career in communications has since flourished across various platforms, from being featured in Nickelodeon's Super Bowl LVIII coverage to appearing in commercials, voiceovers, and educational videos for top brands like Amazon, Microsoft, and SAP Concur. She’s interviewed leaders like celebrated ballerina Misty Copeland and emceed a growing list of events including the Northwest Event Show, the Pacific Northwest’s premier conference for event planners and marketers. As a speaker, Aliesha shares her unique career journey—from military to Microsoft to media professional—and provides actionable insights for navigating career transitions with confidence. She has spoken at events for organizations like the African Leadership Academy, Lean In Seattle, for Employee Resource Groups, and various conferences and summits aimed at empowering others to embrace change and unlock their potential.
