"Yuan Yue is a third-year PhD student in Communication at George Mason University, specializing in climate change and science communication. His research focuses on media effects and narrative persuasion in the context of climate change.


As a graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Communication, he has been teaching undergraduate-level courses since 2023. He has taught Fundamentals of Communication, Environmental Communication, and Research Methods in Communication, and considers the opportunity to work and interact with his students to be one of the most rewarding experiences during his PhD program.


He lives with his wife, daughter, and his cat in the city of Fairfax, where he spends most of his spare time walking along the area’s scenic trails."
