Capt. Kristen N. S. Linn is currently pursuing her graduate studies in strategic communication at George Mason University as an Air Force Institute of Technology graduate student, with an anticipated graduation in December 2024. Previously, she served as the Support Flight Commander at the 2nd Audiovisual Squadron, Air Force Public Affairs Agency, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, overseeing squadron resources, logistics, and administrative functions for 47 Total Force Airmen. She also previously held the position of Chief of Public Affairs for the Peterson-Schriever Garrison in Colorado Springs, Colorado, advising eight United States Space Force functional space deltas and over 80 mission partners across 22 locations worldwide.

 

Capt. Linn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Area Studies – Political Science with a minor in German from the United States Air Force Academy, where she was also the team captain for the NCAA Division I women’s soccer team. She was commissioned into the United States Air Force in May 2018.
