Allyson L. Wilson is the Director of Operations of a boutique criminal defense law firm in Northern Virginia, where she ensures smooth and profitable operations. Ms. Wilson has 18+ years of experience in business management, where she has focused on an organization's success by analyzing efficiencies and workflows, while reinforcing the importance of the client experience. Ms. Wilson earned her bachelor's degree from George Mason University and graduated with honors. She also received the 2021 School of Integrative Studies Academic Excellence Award and the 2022 Outstanding Master's Student Award in Communication. Ms. Wilson is a second-year master's student studying Strategic Communication/Public Relations. Through her course of study, she has developed interests in reputation management, compliance gaining, persuasion, and using technology to mediate communication. Ms. Wilson and her coauthors recently presented their research on message framing theory and encouraging COVID-19 vaccinations at the 108th National Communication Association Annual Conference in New Orleans.

Ms. Wilson is also a COMM 101 Fundamentals in Communication Graduate Lecturer at George Mason University. She enjoys preparing students for the rigors of communicating in public, interpersonally, and in small group situations.
