Tracy  Mason

Tracy Mason

Tracy Mason is an experienced, innovative marketing communications leader with expertise in scoping and executing integrated, complex marketing strategy, leveraging scale and managing high performing teams to effectively implement multi-faceted communications portfolios.


While pursuing her PhD in Strategic and Science Communications here at George Mason, she also serves as the College of Science Assistant Dean for Strategic Communications and Marketing and the Communications Director for the U.S. Criminal Investigations and Network Analysis Center, a DHS Center of Excellence also housed at Mason. 


She has both her Master’s in Business Administration and undergraduate degree in Marketing and Public Relations from the Pennsylvania State University. 


Over the years, she has led campaigns, creative, and marketing research efforts for such Fortune 100 companies as ExxonMobil and Apple, medium-sized organizations like the Nuclear Energy Institute and AccuWeather and consulted for a variety of small businesses, large public universities, and nonprofits. When not on the Fairfax campus, she might be found reading, watching Penn State and Mason sports teams or traveling with her husband Brad, her two children, Kate and Jon and their two golden doodles.
