Student Video Center
About
The Student Video Center (SVC) is a teaching lab and resource available to students in the Communication Department at George Mason University.
The SVC has an inventory of select, high-end production equipment (cameras, lights, tripods, microphones, etc.) available for 24-hour checkout periods to students currently enrolled in Communication courses requiring media production assignments and who have paid the SVC course fee.
The SVC also has a full (approx. 50’ x 50’) studio space available for laboratory purposes during operating hours and under SVC Staff supervision. The space includes a fully functioning light grid and Tricaster system with up to four studio cameras for live multicamera studio recordings.
