Graydon Lavallee is a rising senior majoring in communication with a concentration in public relations. He is a summer 2023 media intern with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, a member of the American Professional Baseball League based at the 4200-seat Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf, Maryland.They have an excellent slate of summer and fall promotional events, https://www.somdbluecrabs.com/news/ Graydon’s immediate supervisor is the team’s Promotions and Media Relations Manager. The internship allows Graydon to develop his skills in community relations and marketing. Some of his duties include:
• Creating promotions to attract and maintain customers
• Preparing social media campaigns to promote the team
• Leading on-field and in-stadium promotional games and events
• Assisting with group sales marketing.
Being a part of “Crustacean Nation” has given Graydon an insight into the growing sports and entertainment industry. He looks forward to using his newly developed internship skills in his post-graduation career
