Dena Hajelsafi is a senior Communication major with a concentration in Journalism. She is a spring 2023 editorial intern at ENSPIRE Magazine and works remotely. The magazine launched in 2012 by entrepreneur Ese Ofurhie, a communications and technology professional. ENSPIRE distributes positive and inspirational news. Features include every aspect of life, politics, business, fashion, the arts, food, family, health and wellness.
Some of Dena’s tasks include:
- Create and contribute content,
- Write articles for the website and the digital print issue,
- Review news articles
- Research topics, ideas, and persons of interest,
- Create questions and interview, and
- Perform some administration duties pertaining to a digital publication.
With all the various tasks, Dena continues to improve her writing and interviewing skills. This opportunity and learning new professional skills will assist finding full time employment after graduation.
