Explores how the media reports on politics, from covering government actions and elections to understanding campaigns and political movements. Students will practice writing political news through hands-on assignments, both in and out of the classroom. Also examines how the press shapes public perceptions of major social and political issues. Offered by Communication. Limited to three attempts.
