Section Information for Spring 2023

The impact of sports television is immense.

It's television where you tune in (or online) and have no idea what will be the outcome.

The revenue sports on television generates for leagues and colleges is in the millions of dollars.

How does sports television make an impact in media and sports in general in society? We cover that topic in this course and more, including a behind the scenes look at sports television broadcasting.

In this synchronous course, once a week we meet sports broadcasting professionals: From play-by-play announcers, to sports writers and reporters and more.

COMM 372 DL1 is a distance education section with synchronous meetings and asynchronous work.
