The GMU PRSSA executive board

George Mason University’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is back and better than ever! PRSSA is a student run organization devoted to helping students strengthen their networking skills and create lasting, professional connections. Students are encouraged to attend meetings and the numerous networking events GMU PRSSA is involved in throughout the year.

GMU PRSSA returns this year with a new executive board. Logan Rice is the chapter’s president and is a senior communication major currently interning at Northrop Grumman. Erin White is vice president and also a communication major. White interns with the PRSA national chapter and also works for RSO on campus. Ashley Cook is the chapter’s social media liaison and is also the vice president of GMU Fashion Society. Alexis Stevens is the chapter’s treasurer and is also involved in Dream Team and Black Mason United. Candace Williams is GMU PRSSA’s secretary and is also a senior communication major. Patrick Fernandez is the outreach liaison for GMU PRSSA, the public relations chair for Kappa Sigma fraternity and currently interns at Focused Image.

GMU PRSSA is the best way to get involved with all things communication at George Mason University as it plays a large role in the execution of the annual Communication Career Symposium and the planning of the annual Communication Career Fair every spring.

Membership dues are $70 and last for a year. If you have any questions feel free to contact chapter president Logan Rice at: lrice3@gmu.edu
