BACK-TO-BACK NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
Mason Debate brought home two novice national championships in two weeks — winning both the JV-Novice Nationals at Fairmont State University last weekend and the American Debate Association Novice National Championship this weekend!
Leading the charge this weekend were Denzel Bell & Camila Rosa-Pérez Montes, who captured the ADA Novice National Championship, capping off an incredible run for our novice squad this season.
But the success didn’t stop there! Mason packed the elimination rounds across both the JV and novice divisions and filled the speaker award list, with Mason Debaters earning over half of the top ten speaker awards in novice and half in junior varsity!

This tournament also marked the final competitive appearance for senior Autumn O’Connor, who closed their Mason career with a semifinal finish. A fitting end to an outstanding run in green and gold.
