Department of Communication Public Relations & Strategic Communication concentration Director, Dr. Sojung Kim, partipated in the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science & Technology Forum on October 23, 2025 as one of the panelists.
According to Dr. Kim, "the session was a full house, and we talked about how scientists utilize strategic messaging, audience segmentation, and different misinformation correction mechanisms to support technology and science policy development. Overall, the discussion was well-received by the audiences and I've gained valuable insights by interacting with people who care deeply about the same issue but work outside academia."
