Dr. Kim Meltzer, Professor and Chair at the Department of Communication, along with co-author Dr. Gregory Perreault of the University of South Florida, was the winner of the 2024 Best Article of the Year Award from the Journal of Communication Inquiry for “Metajournalistic Discourse and Reporting Policies on White Nationalism.” The award was presented at the Cultural and Critical Studies Division business meeting at the August 2025 AEJMC Conference in San Francisco, CA.
