Marijana Grbeša-Zenzerović, Fulbright visiting scholar in the Department of Communication and a CARP Research Lab Affiliate

Marijana Grbeša-Zenzerović is a Fulbright visiting scholar in the Department of Communication and a CARP Research Lab Affiliate during the Fall 2024 semester.

Grbeša is a professor at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Zagreb. She teaches courses in media, research methods and strategic communication in politics. She has authored over thirty books, chapters and scientific articles on media, political communication and populism, and she has been honored with several academic and professional grants and awards for her contributions to the field.

She has served as the head of the School of Journalism and vice dean for international relations at the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb. She was also a member of the negotiating team for Croatia’s accession to the EU, represented Croatia in the European Science Foundation and served as a member of the Committee of Experts on Online Safety and Empowerment of Content Creators and Users at the Council of Europe.
