Mason COMM and Global Affairs faculty member, Dr. Iccha Basnyat, was invited to Geneva as an external expert for World Health Organization (WHO) Guidance on Learning and Capacity Building in Health Emergencies.
The external expert group gives direction, advice and provides critical contributions in the development of the guidance that draws from scientific evidence and experiences. The development of the guidance is an important step for WHO to move towards equitable learning required when responding to health emergencies.
