After learning about an opportunity to write for the Washington Post Real Estate section, Scudder jumped at the chance! Taking the time to learn more about the neighborhood and to interview some local residents, her first article for the Washington Post was published on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
This is a great example of students taking opportunities to stretch their classroom knowledge and apply it to real life situations. In this case, the opportunity affords her a byline in one of the nation's most respected newspapers.
