Rebecca Norris is a full-time freelance writer living in the D.C. metro area. After graduating from George Mason University (GMU) in 2014, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in writing. During her first four years living in the city, Norris worked at Men's Health Magazine, L'Oreal Paris, and Brit + Co. During that time, she contributed to Allure, Nylon, NBC Better, and more before going full-time freelance in 2019.
After working on her own for a year—traveling wherever her work and pleasure took her—she realized that she could quite literally write from anywhere and moved back down to the D.C. metro area in 2020. Currently, Norris writes for more than a dozen publications from the comfort of her giant green velvet couch, covering everything from beauty and wellness to style and celebrity news. She lives off iced coffee, Stevie Nicks radio on Spotify, and stays sane thanks to her deadline tracker and ample amounts of self-care.
