COMM Intern of the Week: Brooke Farbstein

Meet our Intern of the Week! Brooke Farbstein is a senior in the honors communication program with a dual concentration in public relations and interpersonal/organizational communication. She is the marketing and communications intern for the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) at their headquarters in Washington, D.C. NCJW Inc. is a grassroots organization that advocates for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children, and families through safeguarding individual rights and freedoms. Some of Brooke’s tasks and responsibilities include:
-Curating social media content and assisting in managing organization’s Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages -Researching current media trends to effectively and creatively interact with target audience
-Representing the NCJW communication department at various advocacy events on Capitol Hill
-Developing interactive applications for NCJW’s Washington Institute conference
