Course covers the history of the news industry, exploring how technology and culture shape what people read, watch, and listen to. Includes a consideration of the economics of the news industry. Students will get hands-on experience with the core skills that journalists use to create accurate, ethical, and meaningful stories. Offered by Communication. Limited to three attempts.
