Rochelle Davidson Mhonde is a Ph.D. student and Instructor in the Communication department at George Mason University. 

Rochelle has a professional and academic background as a social science researcher, project manager and communication consultant with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in developing countries. Her issue expertise spans international development and human rights topics, with a regional specialization in southern Africa. Her program experience includes gender equality, gender-based violence, reproductive health, HIV/AIDS and access to education. She is passionate about conducting and presenting research for various audiences, from academics to decision-makers to achieve policy goals and social change. Rochelle is committed to providing communication tools for advocacy and awareness for social and behavioral change.
