Applies concepts of advanced visual storytelling within today's fluid media landscape. Students report and tell compelling stories across multiple platforms using simple, portable equipment and software essential to reporters working in the contemporary converged newsroom. Highlights a multimedia approach to journalism to include broadcast, mobile reporting skills and backpack journalism techniques. Limited to three attempts.
Recommended Prerequisite: COMM 353
