Here is your chance to learn the skill of producing a live, music-focused show on WGMU.

No experience producing live radio? No problem! You start in the WGMU practice studio, learn basic producing and presenting skills and earn a spot on the WGMU schedule.

You'll also produce a :30 public service announcement promoting a campus group.

This course teaches you valuable skills for the media field.

Students receive individual guidance in podcast production while learning to be on-air show hosts at student internet radio station WGMU. New technologies such as computer automation systems and advanced production software are integrated throughout the curriculum to prepare students to engage in the most current applications for commercial and internet radio and podcasting. May be repeated within the degree for a maximum 3 credits.
Recommended Prerequisite: One 100 level COMM course, or permission of instructor.
