>Cortina Productions

-Program Coordinator (full-time & contract needs): Our growing team is looking to add a Production Coordinators to provide support the design and development of interactive experiences for location-based museum installations, and mobile and web-based apps. The Production Coordinator will be working closely with the Production team supporting an in-house team of designers, programmers, animators and editors to transform the spaces and content of our diverse clientele into powerful visitor experiences. Must be available to start immediately. Our needs vary from full-time staff hires, to contract positions.

-Role and Responsibilities: Assist in all tasks associated with the creation and deployment of interactive programs including content & image research, copyediting, bug testing. Knowledge of stock footage/still image resources, stock vendors, and media management. Ability to write scripts with support & oversight of lead Producer. Basic knowledge of copyright laws and licensing.  Experience with rights and clearances (preferred not required). Must be proficient doing research online, using archives and databases, and keyword or tag searches (strongly preferred not required). Provides support to the overall team as tasked by Producers. Organize project meetings (client & internal), including developing agendas and maintaining meeting notes. Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs on a daily basis. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

-Requirements: College education: Bachelors degree in the study of interactive or multimedia. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with the interactive or multimedia development process. Must also be organized and self-motivated.

-Graphic Design Intern and Communications & Marketing Intern: The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the Voice of Business in Northern Virginia, which represents nearly 700 member companies with 500,000 employees in the region, seeks an independent, responsible and detail oriented Graphic Design Intern and a Communications & Marketing Intern for Summer 2017 (late May/early June through August) to support its busy communications and marketing program (approximately 20/week with flexible days/times). Interns may work remotely but will be required to come onsite for training. Interns will be invited and are welcome to shadow the communications team at all Chamber events. The internship is unpaid. -Multimedia Production Intern: Booz Allen Hamilton’s corporate Marketing & Communications Team is looking for a creative and driven multimedia intern to assist with projects, tasks and ad campaigns. Prepare for shoots, help with casting, scout locations, schedule interviews and other production logistics. Organize, edit and retouch images and video clips. Storyboard, script, shoot, setup video lighting, and edit video with little supervision and direction. -Marketing Intern: Assist corporate marketing team with planning, implementation and evaluation of marketing campaigns to promote Booz Allen’s activities, services, and products. Perform ad hoc writing/editing on a variety of internal communications projects.  Provide on-the-ground-support for employee events. Create compelling content for our employee advocacy platform, VoiceStorm ,as well as tribute campaigns (i.e., preparedness month, cybersecurity awareness month, military family month etc.)

-Media Intern: Support external communications, media relations, and event planning activities within the firm's external relations department to help reach key stakeholders. Write and provide light editing support for select external communications. Conduct on-demand research into reporters, media coverage, publications and trending topics. Provide hands-on event management support as needed. Collaborate with digital (website and social media) teams. Find opportunities to tell our stories visually and graphically. Update existing and develop new promotional content (fact sheets, annual report, toolkits, etc.) and drive efforts to implement new ways of reaching audiences. >The Steve Jansen Campaign for Virginia House of Delegates in the 13th District

-The Steve Jansen campaign is looking for interns this summer and this fall to join the team leading up to the 2017 election. The campaign is seeking motivated, dedicated individuals who want to learn the inner workings of a political campaign and ground-game.

-The Analyst/Technical Writer is responsible for managing all corporate technical documentation and expected to provide OSINT support on a variety of research-based tasks.

-Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct open source research and analysis to identify information gaps and potential cyber threats using various analytical methodologies and intelligence systems. Evaluate the relevance and accuracy of gathered information to produce multi-source intelligence packages. Create and actively update all technical documentation to include user guides, test plans and procedures, marketing material, training material, and customized report templates. Perform front end software testing/analysis as needed. Prepare and occasionally conduct product demonstrations for potential clients.

-Education: Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Communication, English, and Journalism preferred but 1-3 years of experience is acceptable.

-Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products and InDesign. Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading, and editing skills. Experience as a technical writer for hardware and/or software documentation. Ability to operate in a multi-tasking and fast-paced environment. Experience using Camtasia or other video editing software is a plus.
