In today's workplace, the ability to communicate effectively using human relations tools, technology and media is critical. Our program encourages students to develop a broad understanding of communication theory and research while honing oral, written, and production skills.
A minor in communication will provide you with useful knowledge of human resources management, advertising, marketing, public relations/political campaign management, events management, speech writing, media production, or journalism.
The minor in communication may be pursued concurrently with any undergraduate major.
