Kathalene Razzano is an Adjunct Professor of Global Affairs at George Mason University. She specializes in cultural studies, feminist social theory, political economy, critical legal studies, and media studies.

She is author (with Loubna Skalli and Christine Quail) of Vulture Culture: The Politics and Pedagogy of Daytime Television Talk Shows (Peter Lang, 2005). Her recent publications include “’In Light of this Demonstration of Crisis in Our Nation’: Paternity, Responsibility and Welfare” in Cultural Studies (2014), “The Power of Recognition: Of Intellectual Restlessness and Adventurism” (with Loubna Skalli) in Teaching Joe L. Kincheloe (Peter Lang, 2011); “The Spectacle of Reform: Vulture Culture, Youth, and Television” (with Skalli and Quail) in Media/Cultural Studies: Critical Approaches. (Peter Lang, 2009).

She holds a PhD in Cultural Studies from George Mason University.
