Overview

As an M.A. student, you will choose between one general course of study that includes three core courses, two theory courses, one practicum course, two specialization or concentration courses, and nine elective credits of which three may be an optional thesis. The choice comes in whether you want to pursue a specialization or concentration. There are three areas of specialization and one concentration in science communication. You are encouraged to set up a meeting with your faculty advisor or the Director of Graduate Studies early in your first year to select your course of study, as the requirements for the concentrations vary.
