What makes some content sticky? Or spreadable? And, why are some messages so contagious that they go viral? How can professionals tap into the power of engagement to meet specific organization objectives? This course examines social media engagement as a strategic tool in communication in today's social mediated, participatory world. In this course, students will further develop their personal brand, analyze exemplary campaigns, practice strategic engagement and craft a social media campaign. Open to students of all majors.
