Introduces the evolving field of public relations and the role it plays in global business, politics and social interactions. Focuses on creation of integrated digital communication and social media engagement. This is a required course for the Communication Department Public Relations concentration and a prerequisite for several upper-level public relations courses. May not be repeated for credit.
