COMM 361 - DL1: Online Journalism

Using the constructivist approach to learning, students will conduct sustained research and reporting on a predetermined theme for the duration of the semester. The student will identify and produce compelling and effective by collecting and interpreting data and illustrating one’s findings using a variety of visual elements such as photographs, infographics and multimedia presentation tools. Finally, the student will develop a content structure and sustain an interactive audience by generating an online presence while applying ethical and legal standards to content in a shared group blog site.
