SPAN 306 is a continuation of SPAN 305, an integrated content-based approach to the study of Spanish designed to promote students' oral and written abilities, as well as their critical understanding of Latin American, Latin@, and Spanish histories and cultures. Course components include: vocabulary-building activities, grammar review and practice, assigned readings and film viewings in a variety of genres, critical cultural analysis, in-class discussions, written essays, and oral presentations as well as a final oral interview. This 3-credit course will be conducted in Spanish.
