Communication
College of Humanities and Social Sciences

Overview

Mason students have a wide variety of communication-related activities available beyond the coursework in the Department of Communication. The department has two championship-caliber intercollegiate teams, Forensics and Debate. Mason students currently volunteer and gain valuable experience by getting involved in journalism (Fourth Estate), radio (WGMU), and public relations (PRSSA). Most of the co-curricular activities listed to the left are available to all Mason students. Only Lambda Pi Eta, the Communication Honor Society, is limited to majors in Communication.
