This program, hosted at Franklin University, will provide an opportunity for students to experience Europe while also learning about how sport organizations make policy, the governance structure of sport organizations, and also discover the many types of sports organizations around the world. This course will not only cover governance organizations in the U.S. but will analyze international governance organizations like the International Olympic Committee, the Commonwealth Games Committee, the Pan American Games organization, and individual sport federations like FIFA. All participants will take the course Sport Management (SPMT) 455: Governance and Policy in Sport Organizations, taught by Craig Esherick.
